Wow, it has been a really long time on here. The ancient desktop tested my patience way too much.
So, I used my Christmas money and bought another laptop. I went out searching for the perfect one. I had my mind set on a netbook. So the search started today and it finally ended at Best Buy. I had picked out a pretty HP netbook but there staring at me was this beautiful Toshiba. For $100 more I could everything I wanted. So I took out the debit card and cried when I signed my name. No not really. I just hate spending a large sum of money at one time.
The point of the story-I have a new laptop!
It is now a new year and I can't help but think how I am going to make this one better than the last.
Here are some areas in which needs some of my attention...
-forgiveness- there are things I am still holding onto, and somehow, I need to let them go
and once I do, there will be a weight lifted off my shoulders
-saving money- I really do need to not spend it as soon as I get it
-spend more time with the people I love- lately it seems I have been working too much- I work basically 7 days a week- starting this week- I will not be working week nights
There are more but those are the 3 that are sticking in my mind right now.
Today along with deciding to buy a new laptop, I also decided to have a 30th Birthday party. I have been considering it for awhile. But I thought, "why not?"
I am looking forward to it greatly! Hopefully, I will not let myself get stressed out about it. I tend to do that! My mom is helping with food. My dad and I are going to put a slideshow together. Which reminds me--if any of you reading this have any cute/funny pictures that you would want included in the slideshow- email them to me or if they are before digital- give to me and I can copy them and then give back to you
